CLOSING A BET: As in spread betting, meaning to place a wager equal to but opposite of the initial bet.

COLUMN BET: To bet on any of the 3 columns of a roulette game.

COME BET: In craps, close to a pass-line wager, but made after the hurler has ascertained his point.

COME-OUT ROLL: A crapshooters first roll to arrive at a number, or the first toss after a point has been achieved.

COVERALL: A bingo term, which means to fill all the squares on a bingo sheet.

CRAPPING OUT: In craps, to toss a two, 3 or 12 is an immediate defeat on the come-out roll.

DAILY DOUBLE: To choose the winners of the first 2 races of the day.

DOWN BET: To bet that the result of an action will be smaller than the smallest end of the quote on a spread bet, also known as a "sell".

DOZEN BET: In roulette, to bet on one or more of three categories of 12 numbers, one-twelve, etc.

EACH WAY BET: A sports bet, meaning to wager on a group or player to succeed or medal in an event.

EVEN MONEY BET: A wager that pays out the same number as bet, ( 1:1 ).

EXACTA: laying odds that 2 horses in a match will finish in the absolute same order as the wager – also referred to as a " Perfecta ".

FIVE-NUMBER LINE BET: In roulette, a wager placed on a grouping of five numbers, like 1-2-3-0, and 00.
